Founders, Dr. Rick McKibben, PT, DSc, ECS and Shawn Humphries, PT, MPT, ECS, OCS, CDR USN (Ret) began IRM in 2006 after serving together as Rehab Department managers at a mid-size community hospital. They acted on their vision to create a EMG Services and Rehabilitation Consulting company steadfastly focused on creating win/win opportunities for patients, contract customers, and staff.

With a dual focus on clinical practice and professional education, IRM has history of successfully training a long list of very capable clinicians, teaching at university and post-professional levels, assisting and participating in clinical research, and providing professional continuing educational opportunities across the country.
In 2021, IRM expanded offerings through partnerships with Dr. Leon Romero, PT, DSc, ECS, OCS, and Dr. Eric Bull, PT, DSc, MPT, MMT, OCS.
Dr. Leon Romero, PT, DSc, ECS, OCS
Dr. Romero has extensive experience in both owning and managing out-patient PT clinics, as well as developing and servicing successful EMG and Nerve Conduction Testing locations throughout Georgia. He is the founder of the outpatient physical therapy clinic Physical Therapy Pros, and is also the founder of electrodiagnostic testing company Synapse EMG Services, LLC. He is actively involved in providing continuing education and training to the next generation of Board Certified Physical Therapists in Clinical Electrophysiology an is an Adjunct Professor at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – GA Campus.
Dr. Eric Bull, PT, DSc, MPT, MMT, OCS
Dr. Bull has extensive experience in owning and growing outpatient clinics having been recognized by Inc. Magazine for 3 consecutive years as one of the fastest growing privately held business in the United States. He has started and mentored in 2 accredited orthopedic physical therapy residency programs and continues to mentor others in business and post-professional diagnostics and interventions.
