Personal

Mr. Humphries has 30 years of experience as a physical therapist and health care manager. Commissioned as a Naval Officer and upon graduation of the Army-Baylor Physical Therapy Program, he served on Active Duty and as a Reservist, retiring as a Commander. Shawn’s sentiment about his Navy career of 21 years can be summed up by President John F. Kennedy’s quote: “I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked what he did to make his life worthwhile, can respond with a good deal of pride and

satisfaction: I served in the United States Navy.” Mr. Humphries  has held several leadership roles in Military and Civilian organizations, to include being a founding owner and manager of Integrity Rehab Management in 2006. In these roles he has always valued the opportunity to teach, coach, mentor and assist in “helping Junior Sailors and early careerist physical therapists get promoted.” As a college baseball player, he was named to the NAIA Academic All American Team, as a pitcher.  Subsequently he leveraged his love of baseball and wrote an unpublished book: “Teaching and Coaching the Fundamentals of Pitching.” He has coached hundreds of girls and boys over the past several decades. On the home front, he is bested by the former Ms.

Marisela Luengo and is quite proud of his two grown children, one a practicing DVM and the other in Medical School. Shawn values his time with family and friends, is active in his church and enjoys fishing and a good game of baseball/softball catch.
